Guide for Natural Critical Assassins[V1.20]
Stat points discussed
The key to a fine character is proper stat allocation and stat balancing. having so much on something is not good(applies even to real life). there's no perfect build. as long as your happy with your build and you enjoy playing your assassin(biassed) character.. your fine and not just following some other people's builds. that's why RO is never boring and so much enjoyable for me. because i get a lot of ways to involve myself with my character.
so without further a do.. here are the 6 stats you would be dealing with you life in midgard.
Strength (str)
The fire power of all melee characters in midgard. And being an assassin, strength is one of your main stats to pump.
Benefits:
• increases attack by 1 for every point of str
• has a attack bonus every 10 points of str
• increases the amount of items you can carry
Agility (agi)
As said by Alkenshel of ragnaboards, agi is an overrated stat for an assassin. we don't need to much agi since we have so much flee already(improved dodge + whisper =50 flee; improved dodge adds 40 to flee for assassins on later patches). i say 70 agi is good, 80 is still fine but 90+ is over. so why increase it to insane levels while leaving your other stats miserably low?
Benefits:
• increases flee by 1 for every point of agi
• increases atk speed by 0.8 for every 5 agi
Vitality (vit)
Since comodo patch came, most of the monsters got hp, skills, vit and def upgrades.in game terms, they became tougher, takes less damage from our weapons and simply.. are harder to kill. vit for assassins is so much underrated. a lot people tend to leave vit to 1 which is kind of disappointing when you get to know the different things that vit gives you. and haven't you wondered why the moderators gave the monsters a vit upgrade? that's because vit is approximately equal to your survivabilty in the fields of midgard.
Benefits:
• +1% Max HP(MHP) every 1 vit
• increases hp regen
• decreases damage taken by 0.8*vit
• increases healing efficiency(healing items) by 2% for every vit
• gives damage reduction bonus for every 20 vit.
• increases resisitance to poison, stun and silence
Inteligence (int)
for natural critical assassins, you can leave this to 1. but for some, like the SB sins and assassin crosses(MA and Soul Breaker), they tend to add more int.
Benefits:
• increases Max SP(MSP)
• increases sp regen
• increase Magi attack (MATK)
• incresaes resistance to blind, freeze, sleep and stone curse.
Dexterity (dex)
also an underrated stat like vit. dex for assassins is very important, especially nat crits, for their normal attacks(whites) to hit. equip crits tend to leave this to 1 thinking they're 100% critical rate would save them. this is true before crit shield is implemented. crit shield of monsters deduct [monster's luk/5] from your crit. so for monsters like jokers, equips crits with 1 dex might get some miss.
Benefits:
• +1 hit for every dex
• +1 min damage for every 1 dex (melee)
• +1 min/max damage for every 5 dex (melee)
• increases ATK SPD by 0.05*dex
• Lowers ATK SPD delay
Luck (luk)
luck is the next source of fire power for nat crits. luk gives nat crit sins the ability of giving critical strikes to enemies without the use of ss cards. furthermore, it also enables the nat crit sins to use elemntal katars while still having the ability to dish out critical strikes which is far more stronger and cheaper compared to carded jurs
Benefits:
• +1 min/max damage for every 5 luk
• crit = 0.3*luk
• 10 luk = 1 luck flee/dodge
• increases resistance from status change
