Wizard Solo Leveling Guide! 500k+ 6min
-
This guide is for all you wizards out there who have problem finding a party, and fact is, you dont need party to be able to level to 99 on a effective 500k+ 6min.
I. Equip
So now you ask yourself, what godlike equip do i need for that then? And the answer is no, you dont acctualy need any "godlike" equip or mvp cards to lvl there fine, all you need is:
-
Isilla card (chance to get -50% cast time when you make magical damage, price - 2.5kk)
-
Wing Staff and Eagle Wing combo (+25% walking speed)
I got both for 4.5kk so not very expencive also, so for 7kk you have everything you need, of course you can go a bit further and maybe put a:
- Salamander card (+40% damage with Meteor Storm, price - 6.5kk) in the Eagle Wing.
So that was short about what equip is needed. And yes, Eagle Wing is only for 85+, but if you are new to the game and dont have money for all this, you could level your wizard at Pungus on map ein_fild01, it's down left up from Yuno. So lets say you got your wizard to 85! Congratulations!
II. Skills
Now short about the skills you will need for your wizard, and the skills that are needed are:
-
Meteor Storm level 10 (main damage skill)
-
Quagmire level 5
-
Fire Wall lvl 10
And i would suggest to get Frost Diver on lvl 10 also, it might get useful sometimes, if you take Frost Driver then you can take Jupitel Thunder also. All other skills are more like "extra" but nothing that is required for this map.
What about stats? The usual wizard build will do - 99int, 99dexIII. Map and mobs
And the map where you gonna spend rest of your wizards days is in New World on Manuk Field 3 (man_fild03), it's right down from the camp. The monsters that are located there are:
-
Tatacho Level 106, Base Exp 23 700.
-
Centipede Level 110, Base Exp 27 397
-
Hillslion Level 105, 20 760 (be sure use Quagmire on that one, he is fast as hell!)
-
Hardrock Mammoth Level 115, Base Exp 827 400 (avoid this one! It's a Miniboss so Fire Wall will not work so good)
So many strong mobs on location, and you probaly would die on one hit from most of them, you have chance to survive one hit from Hillslion if you use a shield against Brute Monsters. But when you get used to this map, you will not die so much, but some times shit happens
IV. Tactics
So the trick is to drive up a couple of mobs, how many you think is right, but just not too many so your firewalls will disapear before you are able to cast Meteor. After you get the right amount of monsters after you, you put up some "vertical firewalls" which is firewalls you put up in a straight line. A Fire Wall takes up 3 cells in a straight line, so if you put 3 (it's max you can put out) you have 9 cells of Fire Wall, which can take 14 hits each, so 9 x 14 = 126 hits before your Fire Walls disapear. I should probaly put up some screenshots about that if some of you dont understand.. Dont really know how to explain it better
So quagmire will slow the mobs down, you put up Fire Walls and then wait for Isilla card to take it's effect, and then you cast Meteor Storm, and sit down and watch them die, You should be able to kill *Tatacho *and *Hillslion *with one Meteor in a bit higher levels, since they are Earth Propety, the *Centipede *is a bit tougher, he will die though after some Meteor Storms.
So thats acctualy all thats behind it. So i wish you Good Luck and tell me what you guys think about this. The exp is as i said earlyer very high, and you dont need any support whatsoever. And i never said that this method is something new and that i came up with it, im sure alot of wizards got 99 this way. But this is for people who dont know where to level their wizards, or for someone who wanna try something new.
Cheers!
/RyuGuide update - 5th august
I just wanted to update the guide a little bit since we got some new updates and some new questions might come up. For first, the new updates included some few changes for all the monsters on Manuk Field 3 (man_fild03). They are now faster (increased walking) and have some longer attack range than before.
So people were asking me - is it still possible to level on Manuk Field 3 (man_fild03) with these new updates? And the answer is Yes, it's still possible, even though it's a little bit harder. The tactics are still all the same, all you need to think about is to not get too close to the monsters, since the attack range can dangerus.
I want to add also that with the new update you will have an good exp bonus when running on this map since the monsters are all between level 105 and 110 and that means you can still get awesome experience even if you dont kill as many as before the update.
I got as top experience so far a bit over 1kk 6min solo, but i didt have that much time to play since i've been working, but i'll update the possible experience when i can.And one last thing, if you think this map is too hard to level on, you can try one of the new maps we got after the update, Manuk Field 2 (man_fild02), which is located two maps right from the Camp. It's also very good map to level on, and you have a save point on that map also, so you dont have to run far if you would die, exp there should also be 500k+ 6min with the new updates. But for my taste, the Bradium Golems are running way to slow to be able to make any greater experience there..
Cheers everyone!
/Ryu (InuTaisho)By the way! Check out my video i made of when i was leveling there, some people were asking if i could make one, so i putted together one today. Was useing fraps to record everything, i was lagging a bit too much to be able to play any good.. So it was not very long, but it will show how i play there and maybe you can get any ideas from it, hope you all enjoy it!

Good guide, I must say. If I was a wizard, I would try it.
-
The only problem seems to be getting a wing staff, but other than that, the tactics seems to be very efficient ) Exciting, dangerous and rewarding. Gonna try it with my wiz some day )
-
Wow, thanks for a guide. If my High Wizard had firewall, I would already be testing this idea.
The main problem is that for some people this way of leveling will be to difficult. But for those, who can handle it, it will be probably the best way of leveling.
I guess somebody has to translate this guide... -
Ruy, maybe you can use XSplit Broadcaster for recording...
-
Kajin Thanks for the tip, i will check it out maybe i'll make a new video if it will work better

InuTaisho, the best way I know is to make a replay then record from it.
Well, the REC sign itself is a nuisance, but I believe it's still better than lags.
