8th Sakray Test Season Info

Sakray server has been wiped. Also, we have listed out what will be coming to kRO Sakray for 8th test season. For information, continue reading this post.

Added an NPC in Prontera Castle that allows you to quickly change to an 2nd class.

The NPC that sold elemental arrows and scrolls will disappear.

Added more illustrations for some NPCs.

** Sakray Test Server Season No. 8 Information **

"Hello.
Ragnarok Online, Gravity's Development Team no.1 [ Strength of Gravity, Man of the Stars ] (that's how the Kanji translated out to be.

As we promised, we are here to announce that all test plans for 7th season has completed successfully. We would like to give thanks to all Sakray players who have helped us with testing the contents.

The 7th season has successfully tested the following:

New cards.

Fame for creating items and weapons.

Al de Baran Turbo Track.

Job-based quests for 1st classes.

The Sign - Part 3 [Complete].

City of Iron, Einbroch.

Geffenia Dungeon.

Sprites for all Advanced 2-2 classes.

Homunculus System.

New equipments.

New city of Schwarzvald, Lightarzen.

Once again, we like to thank all users for helping us test the contents of 7th season Sakray.

The new things we will be testing for 8th season of Sakray will be the following:

Here are the more detailed information on what each of those patches mean.

Thanatos Tower Dungeon

As the story dictates, the new dungeon, Thanatos Tower, will be added at the northernmost part of Schwarzvald. This is a tower with the ghost of ancient magic knight Thanatos, and it will have 8 to 9 floors to venture. There will be more Angel / Holy type monsters in this, and there will be seperate floor for boss encounters. It will have quests, and will focus more on the storyline.

Abyss Lake Dungeon

This dungeon will have lots of Dragon-type monsters, and there are planned to have 3 floors. For boss floor, it will have a method where lots of party members must work together in order to complete.

Job-based quests for 2nd classes

As we did with for 1st classes, there will be quests added for 2nd classes as well. This is a method designed to help new players to play Ragnarok Online with more ease by providing them with EXP and new skills while giving them insight into the game's storyline.

New quest-given skills for 2nd classes

These skills are planned for the testing in this session, which is gained without any specific requirement in your existing skill tree. Each classes will have at least 1 quest-acquired skills.

4 new graphics for Homunculus

This is an small expansion to Homunculus system, there will be 4 new Homunculus added sometime at later half of this year. The graphics will be added, but the stats and other information are still in planning session. We plan to test it at Fall of 2005.

Expanded Classes part 1.

We will be adding following expanded classes: Taekwon Boy / Girl (will probably translated into iRO as Martial Artist Boy / Girl), Kwonsung (not sure what this means, I'll find out later), and Soul Linker.

These classes are special classes that can be gotten right after Novice. This will come after thorough testing.

New city, Hugel.

This is the final part of 2005 Ragnarok's storyline progress.

Mercenary System.

Using the Homunculus system, we will test out the mercenary system in the game. We plan to further improve the system in RO even after this.

Expanded Classes Part 2.

Ninja, Gunslinger (formerly Gunner) will be added to test.

These are now list of things that are difference between normal server and Sakray server.

Redistribution.

Sakray: Required Zeny is 20000, can do at any time.

Main: Required Zeny is Char LV * 20000. Can do only once for Advanced classes or Alchemists. Always available for characters below LV 40. If the character is LV 40, it is free.

Advanced Classes

Sakray: Requires LV 95

Main: Requires LV 99

Temporary Sellers

Sakray: Will sell items that require further testing.

Main: No.

These are the information that we will be testing in 8th Sakray Test Season for next 6 months.

There won't be a reset for next 6 months, just like for 7th test season. Please give your support and love for the testing we will have in the 8th session of Sakray.

We wish to work together with users and build trust for the next 6 months. Continue to be with us for rest of 2005, and upcoming 2006.
