When I open the Patch Client, it attempts to "connect file server" but it fails to get 2010-1-20data_gm.gpf
The problem is that I downloaded all the updates and I have the file 2010-1-20data_gm.gpf in every folder

Just put .gpf file into your RO folder and launch updater.exe

Вручную скачать этот файл, например отсюда: <a class="postlink" href="http://motronline.ppdv.ru/patch/full-mirror">http://motronline.ppdv.ru/patch/full-mirror</a>
И положить в папку с клиентом. После этого запустить обновление.

Thanks, but I've done that all already, and the problem continues.

Murachco, same for me.
I had a very old (3 months) client on my laptop and same error "fails to get 2010-1-20data_gm.gpf".
When i copied all data files from quite new client - it started to work.
Try to download files manually.

Update your client with administrator privilegies on ur Os.

Murachco, download the files via ... i don't know ... browser.
But not by the updater.
Put them to the game folder and use my exe and dll files from <a class="postlink" href="http://zalil.ru/29869625">http://zalil.ru/29869625</a>

1)Better for u to delete old client , and try the new one downloaded frm :

and update it with the link archer gave you early.

One day it helps me(delete older even wth register keys,downloaded new the other directory).

Maybe the troubles of update cause ur firewall or antivirus?
And if u have done ur own home-server, try to uninstall it.
Else u can copy ur client to the other Local disk or other folder. Try this dufferent ways
but better u`ll download a new one client as i said before.

new dll's and exe probably can help.
